Through the Shadows

In shadows' grasp, my spirit dwells,

A dance with darkness, where sadness swells.

A weight upon my weary soul,

Emotions veiled, I feel less whole.

A cloak of melancholy, draped around,

Subdued hues in a world once vibrant, profound.

Days by, like whispers in the wind,

Lost in thoughts, where sorrows begin.

The sun still shines, yet I struggle to see,

Its warmth eludes, in this state I decree.

A clouded mind, a heart grown weary,

As tears unbidden, stain cheeks so teary.

Simple joys that once ignited my flame,

Now seem distant, a forgotten name.

Laughter's echo fades, like a distant song,

In this labyrinth of emotions, I feel I belong.

But amidst the shadows, a flicker of light,

A glimmer of hope in the darkest night.

For within this darkness, strength may rise,

Resilience awakened, as I claim my prize.

With gentle steps, I seek a brighter morn,

Embracing the journey, though tattered and worn.

For even in this moment of sorrow's embrace,

I hold onto hope, in this sacred space.

And as I navigate this path unknown,

I find solace in knowing I'm not alone.

Through tender words and loving care,

I'll heal and bloom, rising from despair.

So, in this chapter of mild depression's reign,

I'll grow stronger, even amidst the pain.

With each ing day, I'll strive to mend,

Knowing that this darkness, too, will end.
