Okay, so I really didn't want to post this chapter, just because I wasn't really satisfied with it. After reading it multiple times, I found errors upon errors, and I just wasn't very happy. I actually completely changed the last part, and that I am happy with myself. But I hope you guys like it. (Links at bottom!)
Marco's face was full of shock, after all that he had just heard. "Wait so, your mom, kinda rebelled to?" Star looked at him in confusion, and responded, "Where did you get that?" "Well, I mean, she talked to Eclipsa, and used one of her darkest spells, and all without letting the high commission in on any of it? Sounds pretty rebellious to me." He said, scratching his neck. "Nah, I get ALL of that from my dad. Just wait, someday, you should meet my cousins." Images flashed through his mind, and he just shook his head. "I.. Don't see me getting along with them." He said nervously. "Of course not! They know all about your insincerities!" Marco's expression changed from nervous, to surprised. "Wait.. You told your family.. About me?" He felt somewhat honered, that a princess, even if the princess was Star, told people about him. "Of course! I have told basically everyone I knew from Mewni. Heck, after song day, my whole kingdom knows! You're a big part of my life, Diaz. Don't forget it." She said, poking his chest. Marco felt his face heating up, as the princess slowly leaned into his face. Star suddenly stopped, and realized what she was doing. Trying to make it less awkward, she wrapped her arms around him for a hug, as if she had planned that. Marco didn't expect it, but hugged back. Their hug was disturbed by a slight giggle heard from the door. They both turned to see River biting his lower lip, staring at the to. Stars face turned red as she looked at Marco, who laughed. This was going to be a long, awkward summer.

Marco was walking down the west tower's hallways (where's Star's room is, with Moon and River's, Marcos is in the East towers, so The royal family is in the west wing, while the servants/guests are in the east wing) looking for Star. He was still getting used to the castle, and couldn't which room was hers. He ed a doorway that he wouldn't have gone into, but the familiar song lured him in. He peeked inside, to find Star singing along to music, while trying to clean her room. "We spiraled high, on a gust of love," the girl sang. "And I knew right from the start" She continued, twirling around. "Nothing could tear us apart." Star turned to see Marco had ed her, and embarrassment filled her face. "Till they day you broke my heart.." He continued. "And know its, too little to late.." They sang in perfect synchronization. "Oh oh ohh." He said smiling. Star couldn't help but laugh. "What?" he asked her shyly. "Your a great singer Marco! First you can dance, play piano, now sing? Since when did this happen?" He just shrugged and kind of laughed along with her. Before they knew it, they were having a full on laughing fit. They calmed down, and looked at each other with dorky smiles. "That was fun.. I haven't heard that song since-" He stopped himself, but it was to late. Star's expression faded. "Oh.. My bad.. I shouldn't have brought that up.." He sighed. "Nah, its cool. But that reminds me, have you told Jackie about any of this?" Marco looked up, surprised that she brought her up so blatantly. "Uh.. Noo... I mean she knows I'm here. I think... But.. I haven't seen her in awhile, that's for sure." He glanced down at Star. "Marco, she's your girlfriend. You should go talk to her. Tell her you love her.. or somethin." She smiled, but Marco could see the sorrow in her eyes "You sure?" Star pushed him out the door. "Its okay!. Just.. Be back before dark. Please?" Marco smiled. "Promise." "Oh.. and Marco?" He turned to look at her. "Don't tell her about.. the kiss." Marco awkwardly nodded and walked out of the room, closing the door on his way out. Star smiled and sat down at her desk. She sighed, and played with her wand. As the door started to creak open, Star said, "Marco, I told you- oh.. Mom.." Star turned to find Moon in the doorway. "Oops, did I disturb your training?" Moon said in worry. Star tossed around her wand. She was supposed to be working on spells, but she wasn't. "Uh... No?" Moon sighed. "At least your honest." She walked towards her. "Today we will be searching for Glosserick and the book of spells. Is that okay with you?" Star nodded, because she really had just forced the fun out of her day, so she had nothing else to do. "Then let's go. I'll be in the courtyard with the high commission." And with that she left Star. Star made her way to Marcos room and placed a note on his bed. "There. Now if he comes back when I'm gone he'll know where I am." She made her way to the court yard, slowly and cautiously. She didn't want to get Glosserick back. All he did was make her life worse. He betrayed her. And if she listened to him, she might not be alive right now. She had no choice though. With Eclipsa being free, if she got ahold of him, who knew what would happen. As she enter the court yard, she saw Moon waving for her to come over. When she got over, Moon pulled her to the side. "Star, this is a very important mission. Are you sure you are capable of this?" Star shrugged her shoulders. "Yeah... Getting a possibly dead traitor back.. Easy peasy." Star mumbled. "Yeah, Glosserick can be a pain. Why do we even have to do this when he's probably dead?" Heckapoo ed in. "Because Eclipsa is free! And if Glosserick got in her hands, the universe could be destroyed!" Moon yelled, stamping her foot down. The high commission's faces were filled with shock. "Moon, what did you do?" Rhombulus said stepping towards her. "Moon, do you realise what you just said?" Heckapoo said, getting angrier by the second. "Yes! I realise my mistake now! Just let me fix it!" She yelled once more. "Cut it! All of you! If what Moon says is true, we need to find Glosserick now." Omni said, silencing them all. "He's right. If Eclipsa is really as powerful as I was told, this could be a big problem." Everyone turned to look at Star, slightly surprised by her statement. "Agreed." Moon grabbed her scissors and opened up a portal, and they walked through.

Star sat alone it the monster temple, giving up on her mission to find Glosserick. A sudden wave of depression had hit her, she didn't know why, it just did. She had started to regret sending Marco to Earth for Jackie, it stung so bad. "Glosserick? Glosserick?" The voice echoed through the hallways. "Glosserick? Are you here?" Star turned to see her mother walking towards her. "Star? Whatever is the matter?" She sat down next to her daughter. "Marco's the matter mom, Marco." Star said, hiding her ashamed face. "Oh Star, I know it's hard to let go of the ones you love, but you have to move on. My mother taught me something when I was a little girl, something that might help you." Star looked at her mother, now interested in what she had to say. "Blue Balee, Blue Balow, let you go, I let you go!" Star looked at her mom in confusion. "It may sound strange, but it always helped me, it will help you too." Star smiled. "Thanks mom, but I don't think I'll ever let him go." Moon frowned at helped her up. "Your a great princess, with a strong heart. If you have to, you will. But you may not." Moon winked at her. "Huh?" Star was going to ask more questions, but Moon had left the room. Star shrugged and walked on. She ended up on a platform over looking the Mewman land below. "Woah!" Star said in awe. She made her way to the mall fire pit that sat at the edge, when a small brown lump caught her eye. "What on Mewni?" She inspected it, and like the weirdo she is, plopped it into her mouth. She spit it out, and coughed at its rotten taste. "Pudding... Old pudding." Star looked the fireplace once more. "What's that?" She bent over to grab the small object that caught her gaze. Her jaw dropped. "This is part of the spell book!" She started to grab the remains of the book, and assemble them as quickly as she could. When she finished, she started at her creation. She had collected at least half of the book, but you couldn't really read it. Star didn't care. "Mom! Rhombulus! Omni! Heckapoo! Anyone! I found the book! Or at least some of it!" Star shouted into the temple. She turned to see the prices of the book were shaking, their form coming undone. "No, no no no no no!" She slid over and tried to fix it, but she had no luck. "Come on! Come on!" She slowly backed away as the pieces lifted into the air. They glowed a light pink, but it started to fade. "B-book? You can stop now.!" Star studdered. The pieces exploded, leaving dust everywhere. Star coughed, but her expression changed when she saw the result of the explosion. "Star!" She turned to see her mother and the high commission behind her. "Mom.. I think I found.. I think I found Glosserick."
