TGC Pokémon Monotype Tournament!

Hey y’all it’s Jack back at it with a new tournament blog! This blog will be about the Pokémon Monotype Tournament that I am doing for The Game Corner chatroom. So without any further ado lets get started with the blog.

In case you do not know what a monotype team is I will briefly explain it for you all. So a monotype team is where all Pokemon on your team must share a common typing. For example an all fire type team, an all ground type team, or an all fairy type team, these are just a few examples of the typings you can all chose from. There is 18 different typings in the Pokemon Sword and Shield games that you all can pick from for your monotype Pokémon team.

A special thank you goes out to Captian for letting me host this event for his chat! Now let’s dive into the details for this Pokémon Monotype Tournament!

Rules

The matches will be only in the 6v6 singles format.

Legendary and Mythical Pokemon are banned from this tournament. Dracovish and Galarian Darmanitan are both also banned from this tournament.

One-hit KO (OHOK) moves are not allowed. (Fissure, Guilltine, Horn Drill, & Sheer Cold)

No using duplicate Pokémon or Items.

Every pokemon on your team must share a typing.

You are not allowed to use rental teams.

If you cannot make it to your match then you will be disqualified.

You will share your code with whoever your opponent is in PMs (Private Messgaes)

Dynamax and Gigantimax are not allowed in this tournament.

You will need to The Game Corner chatroom if you’re wanting to participate in this event.
