~•Short Intro•~

An area just north of Moorland. It is the first star-rider only the player unlocks. The area has a few landmarks around it such as the Silvergalde Castle, where the baroness lives, Steve's farm, where the player first learns to jump, and Will's mill on the hill. Us valedale venturers are happy to present...

~•NPC's in SGV•~

Will- A man who runs the mill on the hill. He makes cheese and is great friends with Steve.

Landon- A shepard who lives on the hill next to Will. He has both sheep and rabbits and the player can do a race where they have to catch rabbits.

Steve- A farmer who owns a farm just outside Silverglade village. He runs a race daily for players and has a stable where players can do daily chores.

Felix- A resident of Silverglade Village wbo is also a shopkeeper. He cares deeply for animals, especially ducks. Felix makes the yearly Midsummer treasure hunt but she is scatter-brained and cannot remeber where he puts the treasure, so at Christams, the player has to find it.

Vet- The Silverglade Vet. She can help the player's horse become happier, as well as being a key part of many quests that centre around animals in Silvergalde.

Councilman Gilbert- The Councilman of the village. He helps the player on many of their quests. He also secretly has a crush on Mrs Holdsworth.

Donald- The tailor of the village. He makes a vest for the player in a quest and whenever anyone in the area needs help with mending clothes/materials, he is their first call.

Derek- The Postman. Some people think he has a crush on the player. He is the main NPC in the yearly Valentine's quests.

Lance- A man who sits on a barrel in the village. He has a kitten and also has a crush on Mary, the shepardess who resides near Doyle's abbey. He is related to the Baroness in some way.

Harold- The village baker. He looks very similar to Donald. He only ever gives a few quest to the player, one of which is where they have to transport ice cream to Firgrove.

Riding Club Grand Master- This girl helps the player to set up their own riding club, if they want, for a fee of 50 Star coins.

Courtney- A restaurant chef who is in love with Karl Franz. She is the only sister of Carney, Marley and Barney.

Big Bonny- The eccentric clockmaker. She lived in exile for a few years because she broke the Silverglade village clock. She tends to exaggerate but is very protective of any clocks she makes.

Barney- A man who has 2 brothers and a sister: Marley, Carney and Courtney. Barney runs a silo just down the road from Steve's farm. It is where Big Bonny hid for a few years.

Marley- Marley runs a farm

Kent- A shopkeeper who sells things from the star shop.

Devon- A shopkeeper who sells clothes for the player.

Weyland- A shopkeeper who sells tack for horses.

Lorne- A shopkeeper who sells clothes for the player.

Decoration Salesperson- A shopkeeper who sells mane and tail decorations for horses.

Tristan- A shopkeeper who sells things from one of the star shops.

Notary- This man can change change your horse's name, for a fee of 100 star coins.

Mylor- A shopkeeper who sells tack for horses.

Edna- A shopkepper who sells clothes and tack at Marley's farm.

Horse Trainer- This person can train your horses to level them up so you dont have to. She is located at Marley's farm.

Alex's Mum- Alex's Mum rides around Marley's paddock on a grey horse every day. This is after a quest that the player does with the Soulriders.

~•Shops in/near the village•~

The Silverglade Star store- This store sells clothes and tack and is located next to the entrance to the village from Steve's farm, on the right side. It is run by Kent.

The Silverglade clothes store- A store which sells clothes for the player to wear. It is located on the left side as the player enters the village from Steve's farm. It is run by Devon.

Horses R Us- A tack shop located next to the Silverglade clothes store. It is run by Weyland.

Steve's Secondhand store- This is a clothes store located at the top of the steps on the right side of the Post office. It is run by Lorne.

The Fashion barn- A shop in a proper building which the player can enter. All the clothes cost Star coins and it has 4 pictures in the window, of people resembling the 4 soul riders. It is next to Steve's Secondhand store.

Style Salon- A salon where you can buy 4 different hairstyles: Bobs, plaits, Long hair and shoulder-length hair, each with 7 different colours to choose from. It is next-door to the Fashion Barn.

Farm store- A stall where you can buy food for your horses, picnic baskets and barbeque sets. It is located next to Big Bonny's house

Ford Pinta Horse Tail gear (Yes, that is the actual name it is not a typo)- A stall where you can buy mane and tail decorations for your horses, as well as several different leg wraps. It is located next to the Farm store. It is run by the Decoration Salesperson.

The Castle- The second star shop in the Village. It has a smaller variety of things to choose from but this shop is famous among players for having the only pair of jeans in star stable that have +5 riding. It is located next to the Ford Pinta Horse tail gear store.It is run by Tristan.

Kool Kutz- A salon with 4 different hairstyles to choose from: 2 types of dreadlocks, pigtails and short, messy hair. Theres are seven colours for each style.

Steve's Second Hoof- A tack store where you can buy different tack for your horse. This store has more horse saddle pads than any other tack. It is located opposite Donald's house.

Marley's store- This store is at Marley's farm. It sells clothes and tack. It is run by Edna.

Farm store- This store sells the exact same items as the one in the village, only this store is in Marley's farm.

~•Smaller Areas•~

Silverglade Village- A small village filled with shops and different people who give out many different quests.

Steve's farm- A farm run by Steve. It is the most popular Home stable due to it being almost exactly in the middle of Jorvik and as it has a trailer, it is easy to travel to different places. It is also a popular place for clubs to hang out, as the club house is in the village.

Silverglade Castle- A castle just north of the village. It is home to the Baroness and after a quest, the player can enter part of it whenever they want.

Barney's Silo- A silo where Barney lives, and Big Bonny lived for a little while. It is next to a field where Barney grows crops and it is easily accesible by the 3 different roads that run by it.

Marley's farm- A farm run by Marley, Barney's brother. The farm has many different horses for sale as well as two races. It is northwest of the village.

Will's mill- A mill on a hill run by Will. It has a race and is next to Landon's field of sheep on Everwind fields. The mill overlooks Silverglade and the Hollow Woods.

Landon's field- This is where Landon the shepard stays all day, every day with his shepp and rabbits. He runs a race for the player, where they have to catch rabbits. Landon's field ia part of the Everwind Fields.

Horses for sale- There are horses for sale in 2 different locations near Silverglade Village: Steve's farm and Marley's farm.

~•Races•~

Steve's race- This race loops all the way from Steve's farm, just below the Baroness' Castle amd back to the farm. The average time for this race is 1 minute 10 seconds.

Windmill race- This race is run by Will and the track consistes of lots of jumps, looping around almost down to the village then back up again. The average time for this race is 1 minute 25 seconds.

Marley's race- This race is a jumping race around Marley's paddock. This race takes, on average, 55 seconds to complete.

Marley's Barrel Race- This race is another short race at Marley's farm. The player rides around three barrels. The average time for this race is 23 seconds.

There is also a Championship just outside the Village. The championship track es by the Castle, the fields outside the village and the fields underneath the windmill. It is made trickier as the cows and machinery slow you down. It is one of the newer championships, having been released on June 10, 2015.

Silverglade itself is a massive region of the island of Jorvik, actually encoming Moorland, Fort Pinta, Valedale, Firgrove and all the way up to Golden Hills Valley and the Harvest Counties

Most commonly, it is known for having a very famous village in its centre named rather fittingly, Silverglade Village

In this village lives many well known characters from the councilman who until last year was designated to our beloved Christmas quests and Big Bonny who is our *slightly* eccentric clock mechanic

Felix is our friendly flower loving shopkeeper who helps us on our quest to learn how to jump, along with Harold the baker and Donald the kind tailor. And of course, how could we forget our lovely postman Derek who always seems in need of our help a few times a year when he loses his letters to a particularly reoccurring gust of wind (hmm we're suspicious :joy: )

Nearby the village is Steve's Farm where the aptly named Steve who helps us out in many quests, including the midsummer Questlines

Here you can buy one of three Friesians, a black, a black with blue shines on its coat and a black with brown shines on its coat. The one race here is Steve's race for 250xp

Up the lane is a hill with a windmill where we'll find the kind Will who gives us cheese to deal with a rodent problem and kindly changes the baubles on his windmill so we can have the right one for the Christmas tree in the village. Here is one race around the mill for 125xp and below is a field of rabbits where the shepherd Landon will let you run the bunny race for 125xp

Down the road past the village is the Silverglade Championship Grounds and off to the right is Marley’s farm where you can by a full range of mustangs, paint horses and two appaloosas. Here there are two races, a jumping race that gives you 250xp and a barrel race that gives 125xp

Further up the road is Silverglade

Winery and Equestrian Centre, but that's a story for another day :wink:
