Schroginder's Mice (II)

That night she ran out of her house shouting, "my cat's both dead and alive!"

The poor Doc had always left some screws loose upstairs.

Her demented irking slowly ran wild with a frantic strive.

The scandal it'll brew to find the living and dead in a clandestine affair.

As she waved the scuff like a flag,the croaked cat looked strangely full of life.

"Curses! The Doc could have sent the cat to the asylum of quantum decay"

Wailed Newton as he sat under his apple tree that sombre night blowing a fife.

"You simply stuff a cat or mice in a box and hand them a radioactive bouquet".

"Of course you could snuff out the beast with some potent drugs"

While we nodded in fractured understanding at such maddened notions.

"How are we to truly know the beast lives or dies, if spying on it gives birth to bugs?"

This question roamed the crevices of our minds in spiraling motions.

You see waves and electrons are quite shy of the eye,

Only the blind or a bat can really peek at schroginder's pet.

Off we went to Jane and Doe's house to have them blindly look at the cat in that shimmering July.

We knocked and knocked till our brows were wet with sweat.

When the door did open, all we heard was the buzzing of a very fat fly.

" We'll have none of your voodoo" a voice suddenly said in a raspy fret.
