Damien was an outgoing, good looking male for his age. Living in Australia he always loved the sun and was always surfing with all of his friends, his parents were always out of the picture and always working. They never really had the time for Damien, he would play up to get their attention, skipping school, drinking you name it. But he quit all of that when his sister was born, his sister was his best friend and he loved her more than anything in the world. She made him a better man, made him want to be a role model. He began helping his community, teaching kids how to swim also doing after school clubs on things they needed help with. Jessica would always be there too helping her brother anyway she could, she would always stick up for him when his parents would be rude to him or accuse him of still drinking but Jessica always knew her brother had changed. Damien was a ladies man, he always had a way with ladies. He had gotten through quite a few girlfriends before he had turned 20, but they just weren’t what he wanted. He wanted someone to settle down with but no one understood why he wanted it so early on in life.

One Christmas Damien and his family went to America to visit extended family. Then the outbreak happened, they had a car and a few supplies. While they were trying to find somewhere they were ambushed by scavengers, they attacked and shot his father. They managed to find a cabin by his father soon turned and attacked his mother, Damien managed to save his sister and got them out of there. They were on the road for a long time and managed to found somewhere to settle with a group of people, Damien and his sister Jessica went on a run with a few others to find supplies. While grabbing some supplies a shelf was knocked over and alerted a whole hoard of zombies, Damien did his best to save everyone but couldn't..Jessica was also bitten. He managed to carry her out of there and get her somewhere safe but by the time they got there it was too late, the fever was starting to set in. They shared one last hug and Jessica gave Damien her necklace, she promised to look over him and that the necklace would keep him safe. After that Damien couldn't return to the group, he couldn't it that he failed them. He took the supplies they had found and moved onwards. He ran out of supplies and was practically dying, until she found him. A large male picked him up and carried him to what people were calling sanctuary, he soon became strong and respected by those around him..
