Greetings fellow traveler. I’m Wedge, I’ve been on this amino for a hot minute, I occasionally do group RP’s but the majority of my work on this amino is working on political histories of Star Wars, typically in some form of Alt History. My current project has been for sometime to create a timeline of the galaxy breaking into a new Civil War after Palpatine declares the New Order. A balkanized galaxy fighting for new nations, ideologies, and futures to see if the new Empire will emerge triumphant, the Republic restored, the Separatists return, or if some new power will win.

I’m a post Endor Legends fan but my favorite period of that time is the time from Endor until the end of the Galactic Civil War. My second favorite time during the Post Endor period is the Yuuzhan Vong War.

My favorite movie for Star Wars is Return of the Jedi because it is an amazing conclusion to the original trilogy and it is a perfect ending yet still provides the opportunity for many more stories. Furthermore as a person whose favorite thing in most Sci-Fi is warships and space combat, it was a great fleet battle as well.

My favorite Star Wars TV show is of course Andor.

My favorite unit is Rogue Squadron. My second favorite unit is the New Republic 5th Fleet.

My favorite nation is the Legends New Republic.

Now that I have more then one title I decided I might as well give an explanation about their meaning and when I got them. This is mostly just for my own benefit as I have a bad memory and I like to try and keep a record of the stuff I do.

Rogue Leader was my first title and I got it for getting my first chapters of DoNR featured in the SWA Newspaper. I choose Rogue Leader because for the majority of my time on Amino, since I was a wee lad of like level seven I’ve been Wedge Antilles other then a few random occurrences. Wedge Antilles is most famous for his notable achievements while in command of or apart of Rogue Squadron and I choose Rogue Leader to reflect that.

My second title is One With The Force because as of writing this my profile is Anakin Solo, the youngest of the children of Leia and Han in Legends. Right now I’m rereading the New Jedi Order books and as a remembrance of Anakin, who was once my favorite character I decided to change my profile to him until I finish the series. When Anakin died, he died becoming one with the Force in an epic duel to save the rest of the Jedi Mkyr strike team trying to kill the Voxyn. So One With The Force reflects Anakin Solo’s greatest, and last moment in a galaxy far far away.

My third title is The Fighting Fifth as a result of a award for a wiki. I participated in adding a wiki to the holocron vault when the theme was spaceships. There were a lot of great choices for the quality section, including the SSD Lusyanka which is one of my favorite ships in Star Wars. I ended up deciding to do the Nebula, one of my favorite ship classes. The Nebula was a modern Star Destroyer designed for the New Republic and made for the new and advanced Fifth Fleet. The Fifth Fleet is a really cool unit with great military honors and has excellent lore, even if it is tragically underused. As such I choose the Fighting Fifth as a nickname/title to represent the my favorite Star Wars unit after Rogue Squadron.
