هل يُرجع الشوق يومًا من أتوق لهم
وهل يُعيد الهوى من كنت أهواهُ ؟
القلبُ يكتمُ والعيونُ تبوحُ
والوجهُ يبسمُ والضلوعُ جروحُ
كأنما السعدُ مرهونٌ بضحكتها
تُشِعُ في الروحِ أنوارٌ إذا ابتسمتْ !
وما الدَّهرُ إلّا جامِعٌ ومُفَرِّقُ
وما النّاسُ إلّا راحِلٌ ومُوَدِّعُ
لا تَرتَجي مِن عبادِ الله مَسألةً
فَالعبدُ عَبدٌ وربُّ العَبدِ مَن يَهَبُ
