Fixing Whisper

This is my entry for #SC52018 (very interesting Challenge btw so check it out)

The Yo-Kai I got is Whisper, and I feel both lucky and unlucky for that. He's one of my favourites, so coming up with changes was a bit hard. But I thought about it for a while, and had some ideas to make him an even better Yo-Kai. (for me at least)

I've seen so many people speculate about Whisper being an S Rank, and it was really disappointing to find out he was only C.

Like come on, the capsule he was trapped in was one of the dirty ones that give you S Ranks. So why isn't he one? It's cornfusing.

Medal

Why did he never give Nate his medal?

There were situations where it would have been useful to him.

I know it's all like "Uhh, Whisper is different from other Yo-Kai. He doesn't have a medal"

How is he different? You can befriend him in the games, I don't see the problem.

In the second movie we see that getting a medal is as easy as taking a port picture and getting them.

So why did Whisper never do that?

He always complains that Nate doesn't see him as a friend, well guess why…

Let's just hope he gives Natsume his Arc someday.

And while I'm already at it, can Hasbro please stop making their Whisper medals tribeless? That's stupid.

Personality

It's simple. Don't make him say "No way, that can't be a Yo-Kai" and "Of course I know what Yo-Kai that is! *name puns*"

We know there is a Yo-Kai, we know Whisper has no idea what they are and we know that he's looking it up on the internet.

This was funny at first, but when you hear it 100 times in a row it gets tiring.

And this is not about Whisper, but can Nate and Jibanyan please stop being literally the worst people on the planet towards him?

Backstory

I don't have a problem with the story of him being trapped in the Crank-A-Kai, but I would erase one detail of it.

This just doesn't make sense.

He couldn't have been in there for that long. He has a Yo-Kai Watch with him, a device that was invented only 60 years ago. And it's not like it's an old model, it's fairly new.

How did Level 5 oversee that?

Or am I overseeing something?

As far as I know it's a plot hole as big as the sun, and it will bother me for eternity.
