You know what I thought about with WITCH just now? The previous queen was a red head, the king a blond. Elyon has pretty blond hair... How is it that Phobos was born having almost whiteish blond hair?
Good point, I guess it could be argued that maybe the previous Queen had a ressessive blonde gene so photos got the blonde gene too, but yea doesn't explain the more whitish colour.
