Hiya papaya, it’s your friendly neighborhood Lotte, here with a completely different type of post from what I do overall. This is not me participating in a challenge, showing my art or giving some information about a topic for the takeovers. This time I’m going to talk a bit about a charity and ask for your help to raise money for it. So let’s get going, shall we?

So I mentioned I’ll be talking about a charity in this blog, but haven’t mentioned what charity I’ll be talking about, so here I go. The charity I’ll be talking about is St. Jude’s children’s research hospital.

⊱ ──────ஓ๑♡๑ஓ ────── ⊰

The mission of the hospital is to advance on the research of cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Part of their mission is also that no child should be denied treatment based on things like race, religion or the ability to pay for treatment.

Over the years St. Jude has managed to help push the childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to around 80% and their goal of course is to push this even higher to 100%. Because every kid that gets cured there with a new way of treatment, can help around 1000 other cancer patients around the world, as they share their research with every hospital possible.

To make sure St. Jude can proceed to cure patients, make sure the families don’t have to pay any bills and push the survival rate up even more they need a bit of . And that’s why I made this blog, to ask for your for this charity.

Last Tuesday (December 1st) the Game theorist YouTube channel did a 10 hour live stream where they raised money for the charity. The livestream is maybe over but you can still donate through the link they gave to donate during the stream.
