I didn't have an idea for this until today while in guitar class cuz playing guitar is new to me!

a whole new feeling

The shape of its body,
The beautiful sound it makes,
The smooth yet also rough texture,
The scratch sound as you move your fingers up and down the strings,
It's a whole new feeling to me.
The feel of my fingers pressing down onto the strings,
The deep string marks caused by the metal material,
The burn and calluses on my fingers,
The ache in my wrist and shoulder,
It's a whole new feeling.
Sometimes it's not a good feeling. Sometimes the pain is so bad I can't even play.
But other days it's like I can't feel anything,
Or like I crave the pain.
It's a whole new feeling and I wouldn't trade it for anything
