I generally go by firefly, fire, wolfy, daddy ;3, and so much more! I tend to get a lot of nicknames so I don't really mind what you call me, as long as I know you are referring to me. I'll always respond to fire and firefly though, so if you want my attention, just use that.

man oh man! I made this amino because I wanted to create a safe space for the veterinary medicine community. I saw a huge lack of a good solid place where everyone who shares this ion can talk and interact in more ways then one. reading up also on the suicide rates of veterinarians really sadden me. I hope this amino can bring awareness to that as well and really help people find a place where others feel the same, a place where they can help make it through the day.

this amino holds a lot of meaning to me. I'm not out of highschool yet, but I will become a vet if it's the last thing I do. my heart is set on this and I know so many others feel the same way. it's amazing to share this ion with people who understand.

my mother is not an animal person. she doesn't truly understand the bond I have for animals and this strong ion to want to help animals.

I have two beautiful cats that might not be my cats for long. a story shortened down for you guys, we lost our house and everyone we know will not take our cats in. it breaks my heart honestly, having to give away two precious babies. we saved these two as kittens, different times as they're different ages.

Shiloh is our oldest, 3 years. he is a maine coon mix. beautiful cat. he was taken in at 3 weeks when someone brought kittens into a mall. we didn't know just how bad the conditions where, or I would have begged to take all the kittens. Shiloh was basically starving, very skinny and had fleas covering his body. we fixed him up and after a few short months he was nursed to health. he thankfully didn't have anything more wrong with him besides being really skinny and covered in fleas.

alice is still my little kitten, 1 year. she is just a regular short haired. this little girl was saved with her brother at 6 weeks. they were the remaining kittens. the family who had them didn't have money to even have a house, so they were very skinny and for a infested. we were again lucky with nothing more being wrong with them. alice and her brother oreo, were quickly nursed to health. we had to give oreo to a family with no other cats as he was very food aggressive when other cats were near.

I enjoy reading, writing, drawing, and I often like to research animal behavior and anatomy in my free time. researching animals has always been so fun for me. recently I've been researching more vet based things and really moving towards that kind of stuff. I will write and draw mainly animals, and I love reading so many different things that it's hard to pin down a favorite genre or book.
