:small_blue_diamond: How I got into Smash :small_blue_diamond:

My first smash game was brawl. I had gotten it when I was around 8 during Christmas time. When I was young, I had only played Mario games so I didnt recognize any of the characters. I had grown attached to subspace emissary and it was practically the only mode I played. It was so cool seeing these cutscenes of Nintendo characters and the main gameplay was extremely fun. When I gotten older around when smash 4 was announced. I was so hyped for it. I had checked the Sakurai miiverse pics everyday and I was so excited for a new character trailer. To this day, I think I’ve felt the most elation in lead up to smash 4. When it came out I played it like crazy. I was also an avid amiibo hunter at the time where I had all the smash amiibos (I don’t have all of them now but at the time I did). I loved playing smash so much, i tried getting into it competitively, but I’m honestly not that good lol. Though those early experiences of smash is what lead me to being a huge fan.

Out of these characters, there’s one in particular I want to address and that’s my go-to: Mario

Mario has been my main since smash 4. There is a very good reason why I main him. Its cause he’s easy to use and I suck. Nah I’m just kidding, its cause he’s apart of my favorite video game Franchse ever. My first game was New Super Mario Bros for the ds. I was only 4 at the time when I got it. I was so bad at first I couldn’t complete the first level XD. Though with some hard work and dedication, tiny me was able to make it to the flag and move on to world 1-2. I felt so triumphant I ran around my house so excited. Ever since then I had grown attached to the Mario games.Like I said before it’s all I played as a kid. So I main him as a way of thanking Mario for making my childhood awesome...

BUT WHO CARES ABOUT THAT WHEN YOU HAVE THE FORWARD AERIAL?! MARIOS FAIR IS SO BADASS MAN, ITS THE BEST MOVE IN ALL OF SMASH ULTIMATE. I LOVE THIS MOVE SO MUCH. LOOSH AND I HAVE A CLAN HERE CALLED FORWARD AERIAL, WHICH IS DEDICATED TO THESE TYPES OF MOVES. I ONCE DID AN AWESOME MOVE ON A CORRIN WHERE I CAPED HER DRAGON FANG SHOT AND PREDICTED THE KNOCKBACK AND TIMED THE SPIKE! IT WAS SO AWESOME. THOUGH I WOULDN’T APPRECIATE THIS MOVE IF IT WERENT FOR ALPHARAD, WHO STARTED THE FORWARD AERIAL MOVEMENT. I LITERALLY HAVE BOTH THE FORWARD AERIAL SHIRT AND HOODIE, I LOVE THE FORWARD AERIAL AND HOPE IT NEVER GETS NERFED #FORWARDAERIALFOREVER!...sorry I got a little carried away. Anyway...

:small_blue_diamond: My Most wanted DLC Fighters :small_blue_diamond:

Paper Mario

Paper Mario is my most wanted newcomer. The thousand year door is one of my favorite games ever. The cast of characters are so enjoyable and full of charm and the combat system was so good. Paper Mario would just be a great addition to the roster. And NO, Paper Mario would not be an echo of Mario. He has a variety of unique attributes that set him apart from Mario, ranging from his hammer, to his partners, to the badges, stickers, etc. He would be a crazy unique fighter. I just really hope he gets in!

Phoenix Wright

I love the Ace Attorney games. The original trilogy specifically are some of my favorite games ever. And I think the spikey haired lawyer would be an amazing addition to smash. This unconventional inclusion would be amazing to see in smash. His moves could be heavily influenced from his iconic moments in court or investigation, making him really unique and borderline meme material. If Marvel vs Capcom proved anything, it’s that Phoenix would thrive in fighting games like smash, and I hope to see it happen!

Tifa

I loved Final Fantasy 7 remake. It even influenced me to start played the original FF7 (which I haven’t beat yet, but hope to.) And our of all the characters in the game, Tifa is my favorite one. She is best girl, hands down. While she’s not the most practical next inclusion in smash from FF7, she’s the character I personally want the most.

Labo Man

I’m not kidding guys, I. Want. This. Cardboard. Boi. He would be the perfect joke character of the switch generation. “BUT CD PIRAHNA PLANT”, I DONT CARE. Labo man would be so wacky and hilarious. He could use his joy con as a weapon and turn into the various toy cons as his specials or smash attacks. It would be AMAZING. Maybe Nintendo Labos sales would increase with his inclusion 🤷‍♀

Also, side note, my second most wanted character was Joker, and he got into smash. Persona 5 is my favorite RPG so I was so shocked when I saw the trailer of him hiding up that smash invitation. Now that he’s out, I play him a ton. I’m still so happy Sakurai put a character from one of my favorite games in.

I have a moveset series here called s the Battle. Back when I was really new here, all I would post were polls or small question posts. I then was bored one day and wanted to make a moveset for Paper Mario. I was dumbfounded to see it got featured. So I kept making more movesets, and more and more until I was at 18 of them. By far my favorite one is my joker moveset. I made it before he got announced so I just look back at it was a sense of awe. I also feel I’ve worked the hardest on that one due to me being so ionate for his inclusion. I have gotten alot of positive from this series and am so thankful for it. Pist is a meme. Pist is the best meme. It started when I had accidentally said “Featured Pist” instead of “Featured Post” in a chat. And that may sound like a stupid reason for something to become a meme, and it is. Though I don’t care honestly. At its height, there were many meme pists and pist. And I and other would always make pist jokes (and some still do). Pist has been involved in a trend war with another typo:tender, has it’s own logo of blue paper Mario’s face. Pretty Self Explanatory, it means I main Mario. The FORWARD AERIAL King himself.

Subway Rider

This title references that I live in New York and ride the subway. I won this in a challenge based on a metro map for stages in smash. The clan has disbanded since that challenge.

Moveset Specialist

This title references my moveset series on this Amino called s the Battle. Like I said before this series means a lot to me.

Direct Specialist

I won this title in Jamper Direct Prediction challenge. Now I’m a double specialist

Pickle Realist

This is one of two titles I won from the SUA scavenger hunt! This references how people here were on Team Real or Team Fake on the grinch leak. I however knew the truth and made my own team:Team Pickle. I gained quite a following of 4 and in the end the Leak was Pickle. I am so proud of our teams victory #TeamPickle

Minus CD

This was the second title I won from the SUA scavenger hunt. One thing that occurred during the event was that I became Curator. Even though staff participating was not allowed. I was still able to play due to me not knowing the spots. When the conclusion pist by jamper was shown. He ended it with the sign off “Staff—Minus CD”, due to me not running the event even tho I was Staff XD.

Housewife

So on the day I was promoted to Leader. Jamper and Chrono told me that now i have to fulfill all the responsibilities of that position. Those responsibilities are doing the dishes, making dinner, and cleaning the floors apparently. I then joked that I didnt realize being a leader would be like being a Housewife. So jamper immediately gave me the title as a joke XD. Even though I’m not leader anymore, this title has brought with me many memories of being staff. Thanks guys lol.

My very first title. I got this when SUA was giving away free titles in celebration of 5,000 here. I requested FORWARD AERIAL as a homage to Alpharad, one of my favorite youtubers. I love how the title color matches my blue theme. It was the perfect first title I could ask for. #ForwardAerial
