You don’t have to smile

If you are sad.

I know it takes a while

When good turns to bad

For the rain to go

And the flowers to grow.

Please don't ever hide

Because you feel invalid.

The feelings you have inside

Don't need this heavy lid.

We all have scars

I’ll let you see mines,

Show you my wars

And my sword that shines.

You know these voices,

And they know you too.

They're giving you choices

You can choose not to do.

So don't let their force

Determine your course.

What's ed has ed,

And the future is vast.
