Letter to SA :love_letter:

ʜᴇʏ ᴇᴠᴇʀʏᴏɴᴇ!

Today, as I was scrolling through SA, I realized that so many people- some that I knew and others that I didn’t- was leaving or had shared a post expressing them being sad and struggling. This really hit me hard and made me so upset. I felt absolutely heartbroken knowing that people are hurting and leaving. And I realized what my purpose was not just in this app, but also in my life: to help people. And from this realization came motivation to write this blog for all of you... well, to Selenators Amino.

ɪɴsᴘɪʀɪɴɢ ᴛʜᴇᴏʀʏ :sparkles:

What if, instead of leaving, that there was a way to help prevent people from leaving the app? What if there was a way to help people during their time of sorrows? Well, there is a way, and It is as simple as everyone in the community coming together and ing each other equally. I believe we was brought together to lean on one another as a family, and as Selenators we are one and stronger together. In order to initiate change within the community- for those who are hurting, we need to spread kindness and love each and everyday.

ᴛʜɪɴɢs ʏᴏᴜ ᴄᴀɴ ᴅᴏ ᴛᴏ ʜᴇʟᴘ :sparkles:

❀ comment something kind about someone onto their wall

❀expand your friend zone, message new and get to know them. Make them feel welcome no matter their rank or title.

❀if you notice a member needs help, or is going through a hard time offer them the link to the Selenators Group Chat where their voice can and will be heard!

❀surprise someone with an edit, moodboard, theme, icon, personal blog, etc. no matter what it is, I’m sure that they will love and appreciate it!

❀create helpful, inspiring, and motivating blogs to help people in the community

These are a few, but not all of the ways, that you can help the community for the better; however there is so much more you can do! :heart:

Please, if you’re going through something, reach out to the community or message me because you are never alone! I promise that no one in this community will reject talking to you about your problems. We care and love you. You should know that it’s okay to not be okay, and being yourself is better than trying to be someone else. You are beautiful just the way you are as are you unique because of who you are! Don’t ever let anyone tell you differently! :heart:
