Hola ZA, and Happy Valentine’s Day!

When I saw this challenge, I could not decide who I should dedicate this post to. I have so many wonderful friends that look out for me on this Amino, it was so hard to choose!

Instead of choosing only one person, I’ve decided to dedicate this post to a group of people. A group that’s really helped me come out of my shell on ZA and dive headfirst into this community... the Selenials team, my family on this Amino.

When I first ed ZA, I was introduced to Tika’s lovely poetry and edits by a dear friend of mine. I instantly became obsessed with her work, and that’s when I decided to start editing.

Now, I had NO clue what I was doing. I didn’t even KNOW what editing was really. But, by looking at all the tutorials that Tika and a few others made, I somehow figured it out.

A few weeks later, that same friend told me that I should consider ing Selenials. I asked her more, and knew instantly that THAT was my goal, to this group. She sent me a link to an old recruitment post, and I quickly saw recruitment was closed.

That... pretty much killed my idea. The next day, the newest prompt had been posted. I decided to take a crack at it, just for fun. While looking at details, I stumbled across the Wiki and discovered that recruitment was open for the Eclipse team. JACKPOOOT!

Like I said, Tika was my editing HERO.. so after I finished my challenge, I nervously pmed her, and... to my surprise, she let me in!

I’ve only been with them a month, but it feels like I’ve always been there. Everyone was so warm and welcoming I felt at home instantly.

The people I’ve met through this group are just... fantastic and kind and talented. I’m so lucky to have them as my friends, so thank you guys. From the bottom of my heart, I love you all.
