Fairy challenge entry

I have a long time love for fairies so you know I had to do this. I did, however, really struggle at first with coming up with ideas but when the concept of a mushroom fairy entered my brain it spiralled reaaaal quick

I think the Zelda mushrooms are delightful so I asked some friends for their favorite ones and made some sketches around four of them

Picking between these was so incredibly hard but I ended up coming up with the most ideas for the sunshroom in the end so that’s what I went with

So behold! My little sunshroom fairy!

His name is Freddie and he is a very cheerful and chill little fairy. He makes comments and jokes that at first sound kind and positive but due to the context often reads as somewhat ive aggressive. It is unclear if he means it in a sarcastic way or if he is just really bad at timing his encouragement

His his main power is granting resistance against cold weather, much like the mushroom he is based on, but he can also summon a wave of fire. This wave is rather small however and doesn’t deal the most damage, making it borderline useless. Another feature he has is that he makes it easier to find nearby sunshrooms

Really fun challenge and I wish I could have had more time and energy to make a better drawing (the pose looks really wonky) but I’m exhausted after artfight and travelling so this will do for now :)
