He lets out a gentle sigh as he slips his feet from his shoes. The sand gives him a sense of relief beneath him, and with each step into the warm ocean tide, he feels closer to home. The horizon is endless and he doesn’t know who waits on the other side. As he holds
his hand out to the sunset, he knows that there must be someone there reaching out for him too. They’re a faceless, nameless, shadow, who speaks a language he doesn’t understand. But it’s beautiful in its entirety. They don’t need words do they? The breath from his sigh travels with the wind. Can No Name hear it? In all his loneliness, can they hear one another from oceans apart? The wind echoes back, but only the sound of the cool ocean breeze.
