FSSS Application! [Writer]

Hello! I am applying for a writer's position in the FSSS.

- A bit about yourself.

My name is Al, and I am a member of the Moderation Team and the Anti-Bullying Squad. I have been writing since I could hold a pencil, (yes, ironic.) and have a strong ion for reading and creating works for others. I specialize in informational pieces, but do tend to write "just for fun" stories, such as one-shots and smaller fanfictions following a canon couple I enjoy.

I like to put myself out there in the category of writing to really help out others, I volunteer a lot to make team posts, and am ecstatic to apply for this position.

- Beneath the Colors

The raven-haired boy exhaled sharply as he felt the blade connect with the frozen water that labeled itself as a second home. He pushed off gently, allowing himself to fall into the ease of gliding. This task was simple, yet never the same anymore with the period of time ripped away from the powerful sensation. A feeling of dominance, an overwhelming tightening as a perfect jump is ed for.

He sighed once the middle of the rink was below his skates, new, and upgraded from the ones of the past. The boy had removed the items of the closet, stolen memories washing his skin free of sorrow. Yuuri Katuski had allowed himself to reach into an unfamiliar stage of life, a hand tumbling against a smoky flare of the new, only to be cut off at the elbow for safety. He shivered to himself, staring ahead at the place where he would stand.

Toe pick scrabbling at the ground for balance, he fell flat on both blades and pushed off to gain speed. Feeling down had not been a priority of his after the incident, but the return of the almost forgotten figure skater seemed inevitable to the remaining fans. Having freedom was close, yet strikingly far from anyone's reach.

Yuuri closed his eyes again, meeting himself at the curved wall to pause for water. Unfortunately, for the boy it was hard to push back. The empty rink was overwhelming with the forceful crush of loss as he slammed the bottle down, hearing a satisfying crack. He inhaled sharply, holding the cold air in his lungs before breathing to a pattern that would allow him to skate.

Gliding off, he used his hands to maneuver. Past coaches would tell him valid advice, that in the world your hands were weapons. Whether on the ice, moving them to depict stories that screamed sorrow, or simply writing, it all meant the same. Yuuri restrained himself from launching into a jump, letting the past program be a puppeteer to his limbs. The melody floated around inside of his mind, fear seceding from the chokehold.

Yuuri held his breath, dipping down to gather his strength and start simple with a triple flip. The world twirled around him in revelations, and he gasped as the side of his blade connected with the ice. It was almost a jump from his past self, the time where happiness as anxiety mashed together to new beginnings and competitions.

Viktor would be proud.

Because he always was proud, before the day the boy with silver hair and blue eyes caught the plane out of his heart, and coasted to another place.

- How active are you?

I am active everyday, and with wrapping up the school year I will be on everyday unless I must take a hiatus due to an emergency.

As you can see, I am missing a few days due to time that needed to be off. Before the streak was broken, I had checked in everyday since I have ed.

I can meet deadlines. I set off to work when I first am assigned my task and put all of the effort needed up until the last minute making sure that it is flawless and ready to go.

I'm lactose intolerant. :)
