What makes you applicable for the ABS?
Bullying is one of the many reasons teenagers (and even YOUNGER than that) have attempted or committed suicide. The fact that some people are fully aware of this and still do it sickens me. Which is why if I’m selected for this position, I will do anything I can to solve any issues thrown my way before someone gets hurt.
How Does Your Approach With Bullying Differ From Others?
I don’t like to finger point the person bullying the victim. It’s better to find out their reasoning and understand the situation better before you give someone heck. Maybe they said something to provoke the bully? Maybe they did something? You’re not going to find out finger pointing. I say to handle the situation best, you calm down the victim and the bully, and politely begin asking questions to get to the bottom of it. If any refusal is given, add on some stern behaviour. When you come to understand the whole situation is when you can come to the verdict on who’s in the wrong. Both sides have a story, after all.
On a scale of 1-10, how much do you want to be on our team?
Well, as someone who’s REALLY against bullying, being apart of the team would mean the world to me. It would mean that I’m apart of a group dedicated to stopping something so horrible in our community. However, I understand there is better candidates than me, and so if not chosen I’m not going to be super disappointed and throw a hissy fit. So, I’d say about 8.5
You are handling a case. Two s are in the middle of aggressively fighting and you have to handle it. Please explain what you would do.
I don’t think freaking out in all caps is going to help the situation. So I’d start with a calm voice, asking them to calm down. If ignored, I’ll ask again in a more stern voice. The only way I’d resort to screaming in all caps is if the situation gets too nasty. But if the two fail to tell me what’s going on because of their argument, I will resort to PMing both of them to hear their sides, having them away from one another so it’s less nasty and more honest. I’ll do my best to resolve the situation once they’re calm, and I have an understanding of what’s happened. If I’m incapable of breaking the two up, I’ll ask the leader of the team to give their advice and help out. If that still doesn’t work? I’ll be bringing in a curator or a leader to solve it.
How well are you working with other people?
In previous Aminos (and in real life), I’ve worked with people a lot. Examples of this are;

• Solving dramatic issues
• Listening to a friend when they’re in need and giving them my

I would say I work really well with others. I don’t let personal issues get in the way of our goals in the team. I work with them towards the resolution of the situation rather than holding a grudge and being salty.
How Would You Say Your Grammar Skills Are?
In my high school, I’m actually excelling in ELA the most (this includes grammar). While online I don’t really try to sound grammatical and correct everyone, I’m not the kind of person screaming RAWRXD in chatrooms (unless I’m trying to make a joke-)
When I’m worked up and excited I’ll probably end up spelling things wrong “LUEKE THIS LMAO SHWJWJ”
But that’s when I’m relaxed and not serious. When the situation needs me to be professional, I apply my grammar skills very well.
