Typically, when you start off writing it's because the idea, character, or world you've created is so exciting and inspiring that you can't help but tell the story and describe what's happening. However, at times writer's block takes effect or you find yourself trapped in a missing plot hole. These things are normal and sometimes take stepping away or skipping over sections of a story to continue on, but always why you fell in love with your story in the first place. Also you don't have to write linearly. Write a portion of the story you feel inspired to, regardless of what section it falls in.

Choose two characters. What

are their secret talents? Have

they told anyone? Where did

ℂ𝕁𝕊

Otabek’s secret talent is that he’s actually a pretty good singer. We all know that he’s good at DJing on the side, and he’s obviously made a career out of figure skating. However, he has singing as another little talent. This wasn’t found out about until some time after he and Yurio moved in together, in St. Petersburg. Yurio came back from picking up groceries to make dinner, and he heard Otabek singing “Irresistable” by Fall Out Boy. However, Otabek didn’t hear Yurio coming in, and Yurio was treated to a small performance. After realizing he’d been found out, Otabek was slightly embarrassed, and he its that the song he was singing actually reminds him a lot of Yurio. Since they both have a love of rock music, they both agree that “Irresistable” is their song and Otabek agrees to sing for Yurio more often.

Victor’s secret talent is that he’s good with sewing and making other little handicrafts of the sort. He actually mends his own skating costumes, and when he started coaching Yuri, he secretly gave him the same treatment. However, Yuri didn’t find this out until much later in their relationship. It wasn’t until they were married and Yuri was close to having their first child; a daughter. Victor made a purple onesie with a blue ice skate decal sewn onto it, and a matching purple hat. He also mended up the stuffed poodle he slept with when he was a young boy to onto his daughter. Needless to say, Yuri cried.

𝕊𝕡𝕦𝕟𝕜𝕚𝕖

My first thought goes to Viktor with juggling as his secret talent. I could see him learning this skill after watching a performer juggle while traveling at a young age. He watched the tricks this juggler did and it fascinated him enough that he decided to needed to learn it. It too time, but after many attempts between practices, he finally learned the skills he needed. I feel this would be a skill he would keep quiet about, not from shame, but as something he can have just for himself since he life is so widely broadcasted to world. Only those extremely close to him would know the of this hidden talent.

As for the second one, I actually see Yurio being able to do amazing impressions of popular stars and characters. His skills being so good for the impersonations he does that to just hear him you would never know the truth. I could see this starting as him mocking Yakov and Viktor, but slowly he would grow front hose, adding more to his repertoire until he has A LOT. This would also be a skill he would keep hidden from everyone. Otherwise he might loose that cool vision of himself he has worked so hard to create.

I spy in my little mind... it would be JJ, Seung-Gil , and Chris that would unwittingly get stuck in an escape room. Odd combination, I know. My twisted mind just finds humor in how the events would unfold. :smiling_imp:

Awkward who be an understatement for how it would be. I say this because Seung-Gil would have no interest in talking and any comments he would make would be done coldly and uncaring to the others feelings. JJ would be trying to boast his confidence as he would try to joke, but as we have seen, his jokes sadly fall short and come off a bit offensive at times. Chris I could see being the dark horse of this group. He would keep a cool, friendly demeanor as he may ively reply back, all the while looking forward a way to free himself from the room.

As for how they all found themselves there, I could see that being because of a challenge issued but a television station, or maybe a sponsorship. Something that would make it a bit difficult to turn down, but doesn’t necessarily mean you have to play nice while doing.
