NPD Hardware and Software Sales for the Month of August 2019

Nintendo had a good month once again. Five games published by Nintendo made the list. This includes games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Super Mario Maker 2, and Mario Kart 8, just to name a few. The best selling game was Electronic Arts' Madden NFL 20.

According to @MatPiscatella, the Nintendo Switch once again the best selling console. The Switch has been the best selling console every month in 2019 in the US and Canada. Also, with new experiences like Ring Fit Adventure and titles such as Luigi's Mansion 3, Pokémon Sword, and Pokémon Shield, Nintendo will most likely continue to be on top for the fourth quarter of this year. (This does referring to Nintendo's fiscal quarter.)
