Hi! My uncle suggested I wrote letters to you since giving away phone numbers could possibly lead to accidental identity reveal! Meeting you today was amazing! I can’t believe Batman’s sidekick is so young like seriously dude you’re 10 that’s super cool! Have you heard about Green Arrows new partner Speedy? I wonder when we’ll get to meet him, maybe we could start our own team like the justice league someday, that’d be so awesome I can’t wait! I hope we get to hang out sometime soon, I had lots of fun.

I hope you got my last letter dude, I heard we’re supposed to meet Speedy soon and I’m super excited to see you again, and get to meet him too obviously. I heard on the news that there was an Arkham breakout the other day, I hope you and Batman are safe. I know how dangerous Gotham villains can be when they’re all working together. I wish we had a better way of talking but this is the only way we can do it safely.

It sucks that Batman isn’t letting you send letters back but you can still read them so that’s nice. Man Speedy is so cool! Not as cool as you though. We made a really good team against those muggers, the three of us should really hang out more often, maybe we could even invite Aqualad! I wonder if there will be any other sidekicks to our little gang! Can’t wait to hang out with you again dude! Maybe we could play some games on that cool wrist computer of yours!

Our sidekick team is coming along nicely, we work together so well! I guess I wouldn’t really call it a team and more of an occasional team up. I don’t really know what to put in this letter Rob, not a lot to talk about I guess. I’ve been thinking of names for our possible future team, how does Young Justice sound? It’s like Justice League but yknow, we’re young! Or maybe Teen Titans? I think I read that from a comic book. Tell Batman Uncle Flash says hi!

Don’t worry, I’ll put Rob on the envelope so Batman won’t know you told us your secret identity, I still can’t believe you told us without asking him! Roy’s still freaking out over Oliver not being the only orphan billionaire vigilante, I don’t really think Kaldur cares, he is working for a king after all. Wow I guess now that we know each other’s real names we can actually text or something, but I really enjoy writing letters to you so I hope you don’t mind if I keep doing it every now and then, even if we text each other.

I can’t believe what we did, I mean we broke into Cus and uncovered a whole bunch of illegal stuff they were doing, and rescued superboy, he’s doing good by the way, though my parents aren’t too happy with him staying at my house. I can’t believe we have our own team now, and with Miss Martian! She’s really pretty. Roy though. I guess he’s going solo now? I’m feeling pretty whelmed honestly, still don’t know how you think that’s a word dude, what was going through your mind that morning? Try not to make any more weird words.

I don’t know how to feel about this new Artemis girl man, she’s just Roy’s replacement and he obviously doesn’t like her, she’s pretty bratty too, who does she think she is? Megan seems happy there’s another girl on the team, so at least that’s nice, anything to make Megs smile I guess. Been trying out some new techniques with Uncle B, still can’t vibrate through walls though, I’ll get there someday I promise! Maybe in the future we can be Flash and Batman! The ultimate duo! Won’t happen for a long time though, I mean you’re only 13, the idea is exciting though.

I think I was wrong about Artemis.I was too hard on her when she first ed, I only saw her as Roys replacement, when really she’s her own person who doesn’t deserve to be in anyone’s shadow. I’ve been trying to be nicer to her lately and she’s actually being nice back, it’s like a completely different side of her I’ve never seen before. You and Zatanna seem to be hitting it off well, finally found someone who enjoys your weird weird games. When’s the wedding? At first we all saw him as just your replacement, but just like Artemis, he’s his own person and I think you should give him a chance. Are you planning on reing the team? It’s been three weeks since Jason died, how have you been? I know he was your brother, and I know you hate Bruce for not killing Joker, but you can’t stay mad at him forever Dick. Jason wouldn’t want you two to drift apart again. There will always be a place for you on the team when you want to come back, you’re one of the founding after all. Would you want to meet up this weekend? We haven’t done that in a while and I think you could use some time away from your apartment, and no Jason’s grave doesn’t count. Maybe we could have an original team reunion! Just the main 3, and Roy if we can get a hold of him wherever he is. Please take care of yourself, it wasn’t your fault.

Tim. Is. So. Cute. HE’S SO TINY! Reminds me of you when we met but SMALLER. HOW DID THIS TINY CHILD BREAK INTO THE IMPENETRABLE FORTRESS THAT IS THE BATCAVE I NEED TO KNOW!!! He’s super smart too! He makes a great Robin! The Team is really growing to be so big! Maybe we’ll even reach league level with someday. Artemis and I are leaving the hero life. It’s just too dangerous. Tula’s sacrifice made us realize that. I don’t want either of us to be the next hologram in the grotto. We want to focus on our studies as opposed to trying to live to see the next day and constantly fighting. I know you’ll make a great leader even without me by your side, just don’t overwork yourself, you have a tendency to do that these days.

Artemis and I had left the life and you just decided to drag her back in, and you have the audacity to think I care about my souvenirs in the cave. You’re putting Artemis in danger. She went through so much to get away from her dad forcing her into crime and you decide to put her back in for a damn undercover mission? Do you have any idea what that’ll do to her? It’s like you don’t think about the impact of your plans on other people. All you care about is yourself and getting the job done. You don’t get to force people to lie just because you’re the leader. I miss you. Everytime I close my eyes I see you disappearing in the arctic. You saved the world, but at what cost? You always were too self sacrificing for your own good, I knew it’d get you killed someday. You idiot. You knew you weren’t gonna make it out didn’t you? And yet you still went out there. You didn’t even leave a body for us to bury, just an empty coffin. I never got the chance to apologize for everything I did, to tell you that I loved you. I have for a while now. Zatanna helped me realize it actually, when we broke up. The way you smiled would always make my heart do backflips. Whenever you flirted with M’gann or Artemis hurt me in a way I didn’t understand. I love you Wally West. I love your stupid smile. I love your obnoxious red hair. I love your stupidly adorable freckles. I love your stupid letters you refused to stop sending me, those letters were the only thing keeping me going for a good while, I’ll miss them. I hate the fact that you died hating me, I wish I could make it up to you but you’re Gone. Capital G Gone. God Walls, I’m so sorry. I am so so sorry. You were right. I was selfish and was putting everyone in danger, maybe if I’d listened to you, you’d still be here. I hate that I still love you even if you’re gone. I think I might always love you.
