𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻

i've been having a hard time adjusting,

yet here i am reconstructing.

pulled the car off the road to the lookout,

could’ve followed my fears all the way down

didn’t know if you’d care that i got clean,

i have a lot of regrets about that.

i’m standing here in the rainfall

letting it strip me to nothing at all.

the water fills my lungs, i scream so loud

but no one hears a thing.

and as i’m drowning

gone was any trace of you,

i think i can finally breathe.

butterflies fly all around me,

landing upon every glitch on my body.

let the wind carry away all my fractures

to new.

and by morning

gone was any trace of you,

i think i am finally clean.
