She was calm when he sank his fangs into her neck, she always had a hunch he was a vampire. That was the reason she went after him. To live forever, and be beautiful forever was her goal. When his usefulness was up, she would just ditch him she thought with a smile. She was all ing people for what they had. Little did she know, she was going to be lost in his own game he was planning. He was far more powerful than she thought.
He had a way of making her feel like she was the greatest woman in the world, like Cleopatra, Joan of Arc, or Aphrodite. She ate up the compliments like she was starving, and even though at first she had been planning to dump him she found herself falling in love.
That is what he wanted. When he figured she was hooked, things began to change. He teased her habits, her looks, her essence. She was so sure he would go back to how things were, so she stayed with him. He began to ignore her, they barely talked sometimes. She ached for how things were.
“Why are you being like this? Don't you like me anymore?” She asked, wearing what she thought was his favorite outfit to get his attention.
“What do you mean, nothing's wrong.” How could he think that? Something was obviously wrong. She felt like she needed to please him, but wasn't sure how. She tried to do things for him, live for him. Be who she used to be, that woman who just wanted to use him.
Then he went back to flirting, acting like she was great, hooking her again. This kept on happening, but she was starting to grow past his ways. She decided to find someone who didn't play those games. She saw she shouldn't use people. She was different now, but a bit of the was still there inside her. It seems no matter how hard someone tries to change, there's a switch to go back to how you were before.
