What Happiness Means To Me

When someone asks you to define what happy means, it's not as easy as you might think.

Happiness comes in different forms for everyone.

It can be a place.

A person in your life.

Or just an activity.

Happiness to me is my brothers silly laugh.

Happiness is my Mothers smile.

Happiness is writing new poems and stories and sharing them with others.

Happiness is reading the comments that people leave me.

Happiness is late-night family movies.

And time by myself.

Happiness is being out with my friends and goofing off.

Happiness is holding hands with my crush and making jokes with him.

Happiness is thinking about the day that I'm fully transitioned.

Happiness comes from when I get good grades.

And share my success with my family.

Happiness is dancing horribly in front of everyone and not caring.

Happiness is in everything.

Sometimes you just have to look a little harder to see it.
