The line between good and evil
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All hell broke loose, gunshots seemed to echo off the trees. Blood spatters and splatters decorated the floor.
"How many of us are left?"
Logan: "Not many sir."
"God dammit, is Violet okay?"
Violet: "i'm right here!"
She poked her head out from behind a log before that log was shot, the bullet barely missing her as scraps of wood were sent flying. I got up and started running to her before I felt this sudden pain in my shoulder and a loud gunshot. I had finally been hit by something that did damage. I fell to my knees clutching my shoulder, the wound was no doubt from a shotgun. Pain and anger coursed through my veins as I shot myself toward the nearest cop. I pinned them to the ground then punched their head, making it splatter against the ground in an amalgamation of brains, bone and god knows what else. Someone pointed a gun at me and I dashed over to them, breaking their wrist and throwing them to the ground, ripping a hole into their back and pulling out their spine which I used to promptly stab into the neck of someone rushing up on me. I was shot in the back twice before I turned around and ran to the shooter, grabbing onto her head and shoving my thumbs into her eyes before ripping her head in two. Then I felt the pain again, the shotgun shot off my left arm, I tried to look for the shooter but I couldn't find them. My eyes most likely looked over them multiple times before my right arm was shot off. The translucence was gone, I had no more advantages, I was the same as every one of my followers now, maybe even worse since I had no hands. I looked at Violet, her terrified expression told me everything I needed to know.
"Violet run!"
I was hit in the head with the butt of a shotgun, forcing me onto my back.
Grim: "I have to say I did not expect this... this... this bloodbath."
"Fuck you...".
Grim: "You could've lived if you had just gone peacefully."
"Then my following would be gone, all arrested."
Grim: "Oh well, you'll bleed out now anyway, may as well cut this short."
"You fool, you're not killing The Skeleton."
Grim: "Listen I really don't want to-"
"You are killing Marcus, as long as my followers are still out there, and they are, I saw a lot of them run... The Skeleton lives, if not me someone else will take up the mantle."
Grim: "Just shut up-"
"If you pull that trigger you only prove my point... criminals must be killed."
Grim: "Shut up!"
"You have just blurred the line between good and evil, perhaps I was no saint but I stuck to one side!"
Grim: "SHUT UP!"
He pulled the trigger and that was the end.
Violet: "... and that was the story of my father... The Skeleton."
