Silence

Silence, I have accompanied for so long;

This agony's despair shall heed unheard;

The silence must   remain, in the   most

                unordinarily of the circumstances,

It must strengthen in the stillness of this

               dark abyss.

Let it seep through every pore and mark

                it's territory,

Let the body succumb   to   none   but

                silence.

For countless years, I have been nothing

                but silent,

Crafted     myself      a    tranquil   sphere;

And in this absolute, peaceful world of

                my own,

I can let myself crumble apart, in a rain

                of endless self-pity.
