Should I Post It or Dump It?

I've had this idea stuck in my head for a while now but never got the urge to write it. A freshmen in college finds an alley cat wounded and decides to take her in. The cat stays with him and over time they start to bond and become friends. When the cat decides to go roaming the school for a bit, she finds a group of adults discussing that their plan to shoot up the campus. The cat decides to try to stop them on her own while keeping her owner safe. Yay or nay?
