❥ Born into a loving and rather rich family from England, Annora has a pretty good life. She isn't one of the spoiled brats, who ask for everything, though. Sure, she may ask her parents for something special every now and then, but she will often buy things on her own. Her school life was alright, though her parents insisted on having her go to a private college, she would not have it, saying that she wanted to go to a public college and meet new people and see new things. After moving from her home in another town in Great Britain, a month later, her parents had come to pick her up for Winter break. They'd decided to visit somewhere in America and that night, the next thing she knew, she and her parents were in a car accident.

When she awoke, she found herself in a castle full of insane people who wanted her for her power. Some of the castle's inhabitants wanted to kill her due to being jealous of her being the holder of something so great. She found a dog, who helped het escape from the nightmare and finally made it back home. It took her a few days to reach civilization and when she did, she went straight to the policr. When they sent a search party to the castle she told them of, they went in and found nothing. It had appeared that whoever had been living there fled the scene, perhaps out of fear of being found out. They also found that some of the residents of the castle had been killed or had committed suicide.

Even though Annora was relieved to be out of the entire situation, it still took her years of therapy and self motivation to get back into having a relatively nornal lifestyle without having to constantly look behind her, afraid that she'd be taken away back to that horrible place. She kept the dog because he was her savior and she couldn't see herself living life without him. Eventually she was able to return to school after moving into a new house with the money her parents and grandparents had left her in their will. Despite being rich, Annora didn't dare touch a penny of it unless it was used for emergencies and she still worked hard at two jobs-- until she turned in her two weeks resignation to take a break to focus entirely on her studies. It also took Annora quite a long time to open up to other people and she made a few friends along the way.
