The day was slow at school today as I sit in my math class, spacing out while doodling in my notebook. When class was over, I went to my next class and sat down while listening to some artist I didn't know.
A girl with long black hair came up to me, "Excuse me, but do you want any idea what you're wearing?"
I look down and see nothing wrong, "I'm wearing clothes?"
"Those are guys clothes. You need to be more girls clothes. What are you, gay?" She told me.
I didn't know what to say. I was shocked and angry.
"No. I just like them. They're more comfortable."
"Whatever," she say as she walked off to her seat.
As I doodled in class again, my best friend looked over my shoulder to look at what I was drawing.
"Hey Riley, you want to come over to my place after school to do the homework?"
I looked up from my drawing, "Sure. I got nothing else to do."
"Great," she says as we continue class.
After school, we went over to her place. After about an hour, we took a break.
"Hey Sam?"
"Yeah?"
"Can I tell you something?"
"What is it?" She looked up from her phone.
"I'm coming out. As non-binary."
She smiled at me, "I'm proud of you. I fully you," she put her hand on my left shoulder.
"Thank you," I was blushing hard.
"You're welcome. Have you chose a name?"
"I think I'm keeping my name, just respelling it."
"Alright. I accept you. I don't think that bitch Carol will. Don't listen to her. You are valid and loved."
"I won't. Thank you again."
That is all for this time. I hope you enjoyed this story and I will see you next time. This is your local Difter, g out.
