Dancing in the Flaming Dawn

I bow and yet you stare.

I sing and yet you do not hear.

For you are encased in stone.

A heart locked away.

A key thrown far beyond my view.

So please, listen to my cry.

My beloved, my heart set free.

Listen....

Listen....

For this is my song to the sea.

Of unforgiving sorrow and unleashed bitterness.

For I stand before a king of my heart.

Locked away where I cannot reach.

And yet I desperately try to gain his favour.

To let me smile free.

To feel what I once did.

And I sing to the statue on the throne.

The fool, the jester, the queen.

Trapped within this stone.

So listen, listen as the birds sing.

The sun raising to burn away the night.

The flames of ion burning in the dawn.

My heart, forever stuck in stone.
