One of my favorite characters, Zen, has the unfortunate experience with his birthday being on April Fool's Day. This unfortunately causes him to get pranked on his birthday. Things don't help when he's a celebrity so he gets more pranks than the average individual.
One things for certain, he doesn't spend his birthday with his family after running away when he was young. It's possible that he either spends his birthday practicing for a show or spending time with his beloved MC.
He may also see some of his friends when he isn't busy or just chatting about his day. I imagine that he gets a lot of presents from friends and fans after all the pranks are over.
Another one is Nagito Komaeda. His birthday is April 28th. It represents his luck cycle. In Japan the number four is very bad luck, so much so that many places avoid the number four completely similar to 13 in other places. On the other hand 28 represents wealth and prosperity. His luck always switches between long periods of good luck and bad luck.
As of present day he's spending his birthday with his classmates. This is due to being on the run after helping to destroy the world. He is trying to change, but until things change he's spending his birthdays on a boat sailing the ocean.
If it weren't for an event in his past he'd spend time with family. Unfortunately they didn't survive long in his childhood.
A third one Is Dabi. At this point I don't think he even celebrates his birthday anymore. This is primarily due to the fact that he is a villain and has more important things to worry about. Once again if he does celebrate it his father wouldn't be involved.
This is due to the abuse he received as a child where he was called Touya. He would probably be with his brothers if he wanted to celebrate or his friends at the League.
The fourth character is Deku. Out of everyone I've discussed he's most likely the one who actually enjoys his birthday. He has friends and his mom to celebrate with. That is only possible if a villain doesn't attack when he's celebrating, but knowing his world that is unlikely.
He doesn't need anything big unless it's something All Might themed. I can only imagine that he's getting a lot of figurines of his favorite heroes or somehow convince them to sign his hero books.
Overall each character has a different way of either celebrating their birthday. It's interesting to understand how different each of them are from each other.
