today, i want to tell you a few writing tips!!

A little while ago, i was taking some writing lessons.

How to write characters, how to get an idea, to start my own prompts, etc...

And i realized that hey! We really CAN make a prompt out of  anything! Like..literally anything.

They're called the

༺'What If' Prompts༻

                                                       𝕲𝖊𝖙 𝖒𝖊 𝕺𝖚𝖙 𝕺𝖋 𝕳𝖊𝖗𝖊

  Simply enough all you have to do is choose a topic, it could be romance, horror, sci-fi,etc..

In fact- no need to lol, the prompts can be anything you want, you can make a random prompt and get an idea for 2 topics!

They can be as weird as you want, as magical as you want- after all, you're the one with the pen :eyes: :point_right: :point_left:

If you chose a topic already, OR if you're ready to make random prompts, start asking your self..

What if..?

-What if i turned into a beast?

-What if i was the last human on earth?

-What if they got caught?

-What if they never came back?

-What if they lied?

-what if i have superpowers?

.

.

.

And many more!

Now here is the trick.

You're asking yourself what if those things happened to YOU, which is perfect.

You would start thinking and asking questions, making your own plot story over what if you did have/go through any of the things above!

Then write it all down as if you are the character of that story..if..i make sense...

You would be visualizing what it's like to be in that moment, your experience of what it's like, how would you feel if it did happen, and write it all down as if you are another character.

The thing that make readers love your story is how relatable it is! By putting feelings in it(& your experience) the way you write it down and describe things, all of that is making a connection between you(the writer) and your readers^^

No need for it to be fancy and detailed, no need to make everything perfect, it's okay to make mistakes, that's what makes us..well..us.

Let's take an Example.

- 𝖂𝖍𝖆𝖙 𝕴𝖋 𝕿𝖍𝖊𝖞 𝖌𝖔𝖙 𝕮𝖆𝖚𝖌𝖍𝖙?

You might think it's a weird question..

"What if they got caught?" I mean...why would they get caught? Where are they? Who are they? And What did they do?

We're slowly building a story! Just like that~

You wanna know! you want to solve the mystery! And that's the spirit to start writing! You just want to hear your character's story, you're fascinated by it, so you start asking yourself:

-Who are 'they'?

-WHERE are they?

-Why are they scared of getting caught?

-ARE THEY afraid of getting caught?

-What are they doing..?

-Why are they doing it anyways..?

                                   𝕴 𝕲𝖔𝖙 𝕱𝖗𝖎𝖊𝖓𝖉𝖘, 𝕺𝖓 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕺𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖗 𝕾𝖎𝖉𝖊

  Hundreds of questions would appear in your head, and it's YOUR mission to find out the answers, YOUR mission to GIVE your readers the answers in your own writing way.

  YOU are the reader now, each character you make has it's own life and it's own point of view, all you do is just listen to them, write it down and then tell it to the readers!

  Like i said, readers love relatable stories! so in order for your story to be more "relatable", put yourself in each one of your character's shoe.

  A character is being silly? Why..? Are they forced to? Who is forcing them? Why..? Are they just born that way? Or did something happen in their childhood? What was it? Are they faking it? Why? Are they holding secrets? What do they feel when they are embarrassed infront of everyone? Ashamed? Guilty? Awkward? Anger? The feeling of taking revenge?

  These are the type of questions that you as a writer would get when making a story, and they are the same questions that would appear in your reader's mind when they read your masterpiece.

  As soon as you find the answers, as soon as your get to know your characters and how they feel.. you would make an amazing story!

And ALL of that starts with a simple question^^
