Threaded Tales Challenge-[C]Hello, my writers' family!

[C]Today, I bring you some information on an challenge hoste

I've decided to try out a fun little game I learned about when I was preparing for the October festivities last year. Since we all have different time zones and availability, sadly, I couldn't use it for the festivities. However, I think I can make it work if we have more time to play around.

What am I talking about, you ask? Good question! Let me explain.

This challenge will be a lot like the chain stories we've seen around. However, I'm going to mix it up a little and add a bit of mystery to it.

I'd like at least five people to this challenge for it to work properly. If you're interested, all you need to do is comment below to let me know.

Once I get five people willing to play, the game begins.

This is how it'll work. I'll write two full paragraphs as a starter for our story. The first person who commented on this post will then be pmed by me so they can continue the story. The catch is that I'm only going to send them the last sentence of my part of the story, and they get to work from there. After they write their two full paragraphs, they'll send it to me, and I'll send the last sentence of their work to the next person who commented and so on.

I decided two paragraphs would be best just in case we only get a few ing. What fun would a silly story be if it only had 5 sentences in total?

Once all participants have written their part, I'll post it all together in a blog so everyone can see the final piece. Each and every member who contributed to the story will be linked in the post and given credit.

There are some rules that you'll need to follow if you participate.

1. The pieces you write must be pg13 and follow all [guidelines]. That means you're allowed to use one curse word if you feel it's necessary (not the F bomb) in your part. No gore or anything sexual.

2. You must write two full paragraphs.

3. Please don't comment that you wish to if you have little to no intention of participating.

4. Because everyone has a different time zone, you'll each be given 24 hours after I pm you to submit your piece. If you don't reply to me with your part of the story within 24 hours, you'll be eliminated, and the sentence sent to you will be sent to the next person in line.

5. You must be patient as you wait for your turn.

This challenge will start March 14th, so get your thinking caps on.

For participating in this challenge, you'll receive a custom title of your choice. To receive your prize, you need to actually participate and adhere to the rules. Once I post the final story, I'll add at the bottom of the blog that you may now request your titles from me.

I'm pretty excited to see if this works and how crazy the story will become. I hope this sounds like fun and you'll me in this adventure.
