[CLOSED]: Barry Kennedy Jr. Tag Team Classic Announcement!

LADIES, GENTLEMEN, AND NON-BINARY FOLKS! Us here at OneLife(dot)com are usually known for our “On This Day” posts which we’ve become known for over the last almost four years, but today we have a much different post. Our post today is an announcement for the first ever Barry Kennedy Jr. Tag Team Classic! The Tag Team Classic being hosted by OneLife is set to be a one-night tournament that will see 16 tag teams, 4 of which will be announced in this very post, all battle it out in the Moody Center in Austin, Texas to determine the very best tag team in the Amino Circuit!

This project was originally spearheaded by HW’s owner, the mysterious “DayDreamer”, and the newest tag team to the amino circuit Motor City Machine Guns, this tournament is designed to help bring tag team wrestling and tag teams back to the Amino Circuit! Motor City Machine Guns & “DayDreamer” have been in talks for the last 24 hours since their arrivals to the circuit and have prepared to announce this project to help stabilize the tag team scene. It’s being reported that “DayDreamer” has been in with several companies within the circuit to offer up a prize to the winners that is more than the trophy. The prize in question is currently unknown but is set to be revealed upon the reveal of the rest of the teams as well as the bracket for the tournament.

While many of the teams are currently unknown, as this announcement is being made mere hours after “DayDreamer” was able to secure a venue for the event. But as of the writing of this post, 4 teams have been confirmed by “DayDreamer” which will be announced right now!

The very first team to be announced is the most obvious one, Motor City Machine Guns will partake in the very first Barry Kennedy Jr. Tag Team Classic! With the tournament being the brainchild of Juno Shelley and Shay Sabin, it would only make sense that they would enter. Not only are they one of the most influential tag teams of all time, they’ve made it their current mission to revive the current amino tag team scene and that starts with THIS tournament! This marks their second confirmed Amino Circuit appearance since arriving on the scene, their first being at Royal Territory 9 where they faced the reuniting Next Gen Syndicate.

The second tag team to enter the Tag Team Classic are a team that Shelley & Sabin heavily inspired. Current XWF Continental Champion Juno Gargano and his best friend Junnaso Ciampa, the team of #DIY are set to compete in Austin, Texas! Gargano & Ciampa have made waves outside of the Amino Circuit, taking HW by storm during it’s time away as well as being students of Barry Kennedy Jr. during their time in ICW in the early 2010s, Gargano & Ciampa look to use this tournament to break out in the Amino Circuit. Having been around for five months to little action, winning this tournament is surely one way to put themselves on the map!

Former Honour Championship Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions, Matthias Krämer & Emiliano Moretti are set to enter the Tag Team Classic! These two men, along with former HW World Heavyweight Champion ISAAK, make up the group of IMPERIUM which plans to bring honor, respect, and European excellence back into the sport of professional wrestling. This will be the first time Krämer & Moretti will enter the Amino Circuit, making their circuit debut with what could very well be a tournament victory for the duo, Krämer & Moretti have everything to gain from this Tag Team Classic and plan to use their hard hitting European strong style to get the job done in the Moody Center.

The final team to be announced today is the newest team to hit the Amino Circuit! The team of Kieran Voss, a former student of Azrael Hendrix, and Pierson Clifford, known as Royal Blood! Not much is known about Kieran as of the writing of this post BUT the same cannot be said for his tag team partner for the occasion. Pierson Clifford has done it all! Battle Of The Future talent, more championship victories than some entire company rosters!! Pierson has taken Kieran under his wing and together they look to get Pierson’s retirement tour back on track with a huge tournament victory!

But as stated, this tournament is set to be a 16-team tournament! And with only 4 teams being confirmed to the event, that means we are in need of some more tag teams. So with the blessing of “DayDreamer” and MCMG, OneLife Industries has taken it upon itself to fill out the remaining 12 slots! Now what does this mean exactly? Well it means…

That’s right, we’re calling on any and all tag teams within the Amino Circuit to sign up and attempt to the first ever Barry Kennedy Jr. Tag Team Classic! g up as a team is simple! Sign up using OneLife(dot)com/BKJTTC/s (the comments of this post) and provide us with your documentation proving you are a ed tag team within the circuit (a link to your wiki)! AND THAT’S IT! We will begin looking at applicants immediately and will work with both “DayDreamer” and MCMG to select our remaining 12 teams.

And who knows! Maybe, just maybe, if we’re flooded with an overwhelming number of tag team sign ups we can push the one night 16-team tournament to a two night 32-team tournament!
