Hello everyone we have seen some of your posts regarding some of the things that bear has done and we decided to break the silence. We will be discussing:
▸ The time that he “stepped down” from staff and claimed that the break was for mental health purposes
▸ Why he remained in the staff chat despite no longer being in staff
▸ Still gave orders to the rest of the staff and came back without any sort of agreement or discussion in the staff chat
▸ Lemon still being even though he said he left and is on hiatus
Communication

There is a serious lack of communication in the mod/leader chats. Past leaders and curators have expressed that they felt like things were only discussed in pm’s between bear and someone else. When such feelings were expressed in the staff chats by grim and flower at one point, bear promised that this wouldn’t happen again. Well, nothing has changed.
Leaders like grim and potato and curators like flower, gumiee, blue, and saturn have expressed these feelings. When ideas were brought up to bear, he often shut them down without any sort of discussion. When bear would announce that there is an event or something similar being done, there was no discussion. It was just done, no questions asked.
One recent example is the locking of this community. There’s was absolutely no explanation prior to locking it in staff chat. The only instance that staff was informed was when lemon announced this in public chat, but the issue was that many of them weren’t even online at that time and likely missed the message.
Bears “Break”

Bear announced that he was taking a break around on Dec. 16th, claiming that it was for mental health reasons. On the 17th he removed his leader role but remained in the staff chat.

Not even a full 24 hours after bear announced his break he continued to act as if he was still a leader. He was still telling staff what to do. No one questioned this because it was so odd. Some even thought bear changed his mind. Bear just carried on as if he didn’t say he was leaving. Then, a few days later, without discussion, bear is given leader by lemon again. This is what leads us to believe that there are private discussions between bear and lemon that keeps staff in the dark.

Lemon informed everyone in staff chat on Dec. 23rd that he would be stepping down as leader and taking a break. Right after that he left the staff chat. Why is he still leader if he he left 5 days ago? There is no excuse for bear since he had time to disable posts made by Max and Retribution.
We believe that bear is not fit to be leader due to his instability and the reasons listed above. Including Jensen who is extremely inactive. One can say that they do the most for this amino but even if that is true, just because they do the most doesn’t mean that they’re good staff.
