Tylas, a young shepherd, believes that it is his destiny to stay on the island of Duras and tend to sheep his entire life.

That is, until Týr shows up. Gifting Tylas a stone with strange properties, Týr tells that Tylas' destiny is far beyond that of staying on Duras. Tylas patiently awaits fro the return of Týr. Tylas patiently awaits fro answers.

When Týr does return, all is revealed. He reveals that Tylas is part of an ancient race of magic wielding beings - sorcerers - and how many of them, good and bad, are in hiding all over the world.

Knowing his world, Rane, is now at risk, Tylas must reach Sarus and assemble the remaining sorcerers if they have any hopes of defeating a great evil looming above them.

Now, armed with allies, Tylas must take the battle head on and defeat the great evil, freeing Rane from its grasp.
