There was darkness. All darkness. She heard screams of help,cries of pain. She chuckled,she knew it was all a dream. She would wake up in 3..2....

She woke up,the young girl sat up,drenched in her own sweat. Kira looked around,as everything was being viewed in her sight. She got up,and got ready for school. With the slightest knock,her mother opened the door to find her daughter ready.

"My,my. You got up mighty early hun. Come down and get your breakfast."

Kira went down stairs next to her mother. She didn't say a word,she didn't need to. She sat down at the table.

"Kira...I made you pancakes,and packed your favorite lunch. I know you like shrimp and crab."

The girl looked at her mother and merely nodded in a thank you. She ate her food and got up to get her bag,as she came down she quietly muttered the words,"I'm leaving"

"Oh" her mother smiled sadly,and hugged her daughter,"bye sweetie,have a nice day".

She sat on the playground. It was recess time. She looked around at the other children playing. "...Foolish,oh all so foolish." she muttered the words and stood up. As she did she looked down to see a small squirrel at her feet. Dead.

She looked at it,looked around to she if anyone was watching,and picked it up. She grabbed a small stick and hid at one of the corners of the playground,she sharpened the stick with a rock. When it was sharp,she looked at the dead squirrel with a wide smile spread across her face.

She went home that afternoon with a note in her bag,it read,"Your child has practiced violent acts with a dead animal. She scared all her classmates. Your child's teacher,Mrs. Brown."

She flushed the note down the toilet,and plopped onto her bed,"foolish really,I was just having a bit of fun-" A sharp pain hit her head,she was craving more blood as she saw today,as holes spread across her arm. She screamed,and ed out.

She woke up to her mother wiping her face with a damp towel."honey...are you alright?"

She smacked the towel away (suprising her mother) And looked at her bandaged arm,"....go away mom"

The woman stood up,teary eyed,and walked out,whispering the words,"I love you Kira"

When Kira's mom was out,she took the bandages off to see there were no holes. Confused,she looked at the date. It was still the same day. "how did-" she paused,and decided not to question it. She had seen stranger things,but it was different. All very different. The room seemed a bit gloomy and boring. She wanted...she wanted more. She wanted red. She wanted blood. But,she knew if she wanted blood,she'd have to kill.

She waited,until the clock read '10 pm',she got up,she knew her father was home today,she put on his blue sailor outfit,with the hat,and grabbed the hooks and fishing paddle. "This is going to be...fun"
