Help our learn how to add both sci-fi and dystopian elements into their writing. The main thing we will be focusing on is how to utilize these elements in such a way that their incorporation won’t be cliché or part of an overused idea.

Though a recent fascination, I have been interested in sci-fi and dystopian and writing more of it in my stories. It's my job to make readers question my sanity more and more with each story. Why not speed along the process with a genre that prioritizes bringing out the absolute worst in humanity? I really hope to create new experiences with you all in this club. Let's hope for a fun time!

Hey there! Saori here! I’m super excited to be one of the leaders for this club! The science fiction and dystopian genres have always been two of my favorites. I don’t consider myself to be the best at either but I think that will make running the club even more fun since I’ll be able to learn alongside all of the . I have a lot of ideas that will be sure to keep the club entertaining so check out our applications!

Types of Challenges

Triweeklies

These will be lessons and prompts mixed into one. Each lesson will address an element of science fiction and/or dystopia. It will teach you about the element, popular examples of each element, how it is usually used and how to adapt it to make it more unique. As the name implies, these prompts would be due every three weeks.

Discussions

These will be more geared towards club member’s opinions and participation. There will be a what if scenario or a question that you have to answer. Ex. What would we do if people cloning existed?

• In the event of you not being able to complete a biweekly, rate your communication skills on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 - abysmal 10 - outstanding) since you will have to communicate with the leaders when you can’t complete and assignment.
