Let's talk sky powers!

This categorizes lighting and wind magic.

Main uses

Wind magic s are very often known to be capable of flight and creating tornadoes with their powers. Large gusts of winds can sometimes get so strong they can knock some of the heaviest things over in a huge gale. Bringing forth a tempest of air strong enough can even put out flames!

Wind s (as well as water s) can also manipulate clouds and even ride on them by using their magic! They can bring down fog and very often boost their speed to high levels for combat.

Electricity powers are very deadly. They can start a fire if they strike something like dry leaves or a tree. It's also considered the fastest type of magic that's nearly impossible to block and even harder to dodge. If the has a weapon, they can charge it with electricity to power attacks!

(In the comic/ tv series w.i.t.c.h. the electric Will could actually talk to electronics as if they were people!)

Dark side

Wind powers don't have many drawbacks, but they do exist. A wind may unintentionally float and have a hard time controlling it or even make other things around them float. A wind can also suffocate another by sucking all the air out of the area that they're in. They can also do this to large groups of people and create deadly storms that cause wide scale destruction.

Lighting actually doesn't need extremely high voltages to be deadly. It takes as much voltage as a standard household appliance to stop a human heart. Along with this, electric s often have to let electricity flow through their bodies in order to use it properly. But if they aren't careful, some can actually electrocute themselves or anyone they touch by accident.

Wind powers are probably one of the harder powers to describe because it can't be seen. You can only see what it affects. Leaves moving about, as well as twigs and feathers flying around are the more obvious ways to show wind moving. The area around wind s will also likely be affected if it's being used at a large scale. Trees around them will be swaying in winds direction if they're outside as well as the s hair and clothes. If they're inside, things will be falling off of shelves and other objects knocked over. One thing that is very noticeable when writing this is if your wind s power is strong enough to pick up houses, but the person they're fighting is still somehow on the ground. If wind picks up something of a certain weight, it picks up everything under that weight as well (unless the other person has a special power keeping them rooted to the ground.)

Lightning powers can actually be seen. They'll either come from the sky, the or if electronic devices exist in your world, can from those. Lightning can also be different colors depending on what's in the air and lighting. It also tends to linger after it strikes by having small traces dance around wherever it landed for a brief period of time.
