1…2…3 in…out…in…out
Stay in this moment.
Right here.
Just breathe.

1…2…3 in…out…in…out
Stay in this moment.
Right here.
Just breathe.
1…2…3 in…out…in…out
Focus here.
This is what matters.
This is where you must live.
In…out…in…out 1…2…3
Don’t think…about what you’ve shoved in the closet.
Don’t think…about the whir of thoughts inside your head
Don’t think…about the house you have to go back to
No
Just breathe
1. 2.
Come on
In out
Just breathe
Justbreathe
1 2
Inout
Please breathe
Inout
Don’t falter
Push the darkness back
Don’t let it overtake you
You have to climb out
Reach out in the dark
Reach for my hand and this pain won’t overwhelm you
I’ll hold onto hope
Just hold onto me
I will take the sweeping current
Just hold onto me
I will hold you close
Just hold onto me
I’ve got you
You’re safe
Just breathe
In…out…in…out 1…2…3

There is always something mesmerizing about the use of repetition in poems. I think this post perfect shows how much imapct repetition can have in calming the senses. Absolutely well done
Thank you so much! I often struggle with panic attacks and some of the most helpful things someone has told me was to repeat something out loud and create a touch point with each of those so that it connects the mind and body again.
