Poem Inspired by “Don’t Leave Me” from BTS

Walking aimlessly, with only one destination,

only heading into the depths of the dark.

All I could do was watch with no emotion,

but I will turn back time and redo everything.

There is only one speck of brightness,

a single hope, which is my reason for living.

This position can not be replaced by anyone,

it only is reserved to my spark, you.

Please stop walking there, please turn back,

it’s clear by now, but without you I am nothing.

If you continue following this hopeless path,

my only option would be to follow you.

Yet I won’t allow the darkness take me over,

I won’t allow the darkness to take you over,

Without each other, there is no future for us.

But I will smile everyday, if you stay with me.

No longer will I allow you to be alone,

Never again will I allow you to go a stray path.

If you stay with me, in the next time around,

I promise a smile, one for you, one for me.
