with all the tears

from those highschool days

when you had no one to talk to

and drowned yourself with music

you make your sorrows

the blueprint

for all your designs

each piece representing

different kinds of hurt

imprinted into your style

they show the history

like the intricate patterns

of stretch marks on skin

your art tells a story

and i’m overwhelmed

with melancholy

visually seeing

what you’ve been through.

you’re too afraid to tell

and simple words

won’t be able to express.
