"You do realize the chances of you getting Mandy are awfully slim, right?" Rotten asked.
"Yeah, the only person who got what we wanted was Alpha," said Nova.
"That's not true," Bear rebutted. "I got a friend."
"Yeah, a friend who left me behind with a sprained ankle to run after you all," scoffed Kal. He sat with his bad ankle stretched out.
"Well, Kal, if you'd stretch it every once in a while, this wouldn't happen," teased Nova.
"Why don't I stretch it by kicking your face?" Kal threatened.
Neon watched all of this happen before her eyes, listening to the words as they went into her ears. The girl chose to only pay attention up until that point, as she drifted off into deep thought afterwards.
"Hey, you ok?" Alpha asked. For once, he was actually concerned about Neon. He placed his hand on her shoulder, which he thought would comfort her. Instead, it only triggered a memory.
The girl saw herself hanging. Her feet were way above the ground, and the rope around her neck became tighter by the minute. With weak eyes, she saw the person who was responsible. The flashback made her shiver.
"Neon?" Alpha asked.
"Is there where we all go to die?" a voice spoke. "I guess, it isn't that bad."
In front of everyone was Mandy, the only person who found the group before they found her.
Mandy, the seventh victim. Neon's request worked after all.
"Oh, hey look! Mandy is here! Neon's request did work!" Nova cheered. At this point, no one was surprised that Nova spilled the secret again.
"Well, I'll be damned," said Rotten with wide eyes.
"Wait a minute," Mandy narrowed her eyes. "What request?"
Neon snapped out of her trance. "Uh, we don't talk about that."
Mandy stared off into the distance, looking at an object. There was a blinking red light, and it stood on a tripod. "Does it have to do with that camera over there?"
"Dammit! I wanted to be the one to reveal it!" Nova whined.
"You always want everything," Kal said.
"I certainly don't want you," she shot back.
"Allow me to observe it a bit closer," Mandy declared. She dared to walk right up to it.
"Wait, no, Mandy, don't go near it," Alpha pleaded. Ignoring him, Mandy went behind the camera and through the mini screen, she saw the group staring at it.
"It's recording. But, the question is, who is watching the footage?" she asked.
"We don't know," said Rotten. "All we know is once you introduce yourself and ask for something, someone new shows up the next day."
Mandy shook her head. "And you wanted me to die, Neon? You all wanted someone to die?"
"I didn't ask for anyone in specifics," Alpha said. "I just didn't want to face death alone."
"I wanted food," Nova said.
"I wanted a fight," Rotten added.
"I wanted a friend," Bear said.
There was a pause as everyone was waiting for the request that caused Neon to die, only to it was left a mystery. "Wait, Kalopsia, did you ask for Neon's death?" Alpha interrogated.
"No!" Kal shut him down. "I knew it wasn't supposed to be spoken to, so I didn't say anything." He wanted suffering.
Mandy looked at Neon with a glare. "So, why did you ask for me to die?"
Neon felt like she was injected with a dose of guilt. "Mandy, I didn't want you to die to see you suffer. I thought you would be able to get us out of here, seeing as you usually know your way out of these situations," Neon said.
"Well, too bad," Mandy said as she walked towards the group. "We can't escape death. We're here forever and ever, staring at the empty space until we lose our minds. The remainder of our team knows there's a killer among them, and they don't know who it is. But, it only took me a few minutes to realize I'm looking at the killers."
"Wait, I have a question," Nova said.
"Nova, right now is not the time for one of your stupid questions," Alpha looked at her.
"No, this is serious. If the cause of all our deaths was because we asked for them then, who asked for your death, Alpha?"
"Woah, that's a deep question," Bear commented.
"I... don't know," Alpha responded. "Probably someone who hates me."
"Oh, Alpha, no one hates you. We think you're an ass, but deep down we're all jerks." said Rotten, her voice buttered with sympathy.
"Eh, I hate you," said Kal shamelessly.
"Very sweet, but I was summoned here to help so I'm going to use my time productively," Mandy declared. "Given that time is an imaginary concept at this point."
"What are you gonna do?" Neon asked.
Mandy stood in front of the camera, looking directly at the lens. "This may be a rebuttal to my previous moral, but I only have one solution. " She breathed in and out as she prepared herself.
"Greetings. I'm Mandy."
