Little Peggy swam peacefully, declaring herself queen of the sea. There were no runner-ups, so why couldn't she be the queen?

Little Peggy dodged the waste floating around, It was icky and would cling to her face.

Little Peggy swam in her polluted kingdom with pride, ger plastic crown on her head.

Carrying nothing but a cotton bud to use as a staff

As she sat on a rock, she thought to herself

Was she really happy?

Suddenly Little Peggy wasn't too proud of her kingdom anymore

Overcome with sorrow, she cried

Little Peggy was all alone

She had no one by her side

She wished there was someone she could talk to, maybe then she wouldn't have been so lonely.

Poor Little Peggy just didn't understand. Where was everyone? Why was she the only one around?

Filled with determination, Little Peggy left her polluted kingdom. She would find others like her, she had to.

The world was cruel, it was hard for Little Peggy. She could barely swim in the oceans full of plastic.

What happened to the earth? Homes ruined, species extinct.

What has become of us?

It took months, but Little Peggy had a big heart and a fiery soul.

She found small homes, each one reminded her of home.

Little Peggy knocked on the doors, no answer.

Door after door, nothing. Where had everyone gone?

A small piece of plastic floated by her. Little Peggy watched it go by, her eyes wide and filling with fresh salty tears.

Our world was gone, poor Little Peggy realized that there was nothing.

No one was left but her.

As she wept, she found a new crown. Another old cotton bud was used for her staff.

Little Peggy ruled the sea. Trying her best to be happy.

This is Little Peggy's world, she will stay here until there would be no one left.

Little Peggy is the last of her kind.

Once she's gone, will this still be a planet full of life?

Or will it be full of plastic instead? Will we still be able to call it earth, the planet full of life?

Unfortunately, we never found the answer.

This marks the end of Little Peggy's tale. I wish I could say that Little Peggy lived on, I really wish I could. But just like the others, she is now gone, An extinct creature. We shall never see another.

Goodbye, Little Peggy, I hope you're happy now. I hope you're somewhere out there, somewhere you call rule with true pride.
