So for this challenge, I'll be adding a new member to....SEVENTEEN!

Background:

Dylan is a model and actor, he acted in a few romcom web dramas and was casted by Pledis one year ago. He was trained as a secret trainee and was soon placed into Seventeen when the group had debuted 3 years. Although Carats had been leaving bad comments towards him because rumor says he was put into the group by secret relations, Dylan had proved himself by showing great teamwork with the other and showcasing his talents whenever the group appeared in television programmes.

His good looks is one of the reasons that attracted fans' attention to him, but he actually can dance and rap as well, he can also draw and take selfies well. Like Jun and The8, he is Chinese and so he can help the group translate Korean to Chinese for the fans to understand them better, also he belongs to the Hip-Hop unit, and is one of the maknaes of SEVENTEEN too.

To really dig into his earlier life before ing SEVENTEEN, he was a model and actor. He ed a campus talent show in his hometown Sichuan, and won in first place. That's how he got into the entertainment industry and ed another reality show of picking talented youngsters. Again, he won in first place and that's when he started gaining attention from the public and his fans.

He received an invitation of being the male lead role of a romcom drama after that. When the drama came out, the audience was curious about the new face, and eventually increased his popularity; lots of comercials and ment companies looked for him, wanting him to be the representative of their brands. Then another opportunity came for him, the casting from Pledis.

Dylan is interested in the idol career, thus he accepted the offer when Pledis invited him to be a trainee of the company. Despite having the difficulty of learning the language and overcoming the cultural difference, Dylan was optimistic and learned diligently. According to his trainers and teachers, he practiced a lot on a daily basis, knowing that he was lacking so he needed more practice and need to be more hardworkintg than anyone else; some fans think that could be the main reason of why he could have debuted with only one year training, when an average foreigner trainee needs at least three years. After a year, he debuted with the 13-member group and became the 14th member.

Dylan has s in some social media platforms such as Instagram and Weibo. He would share his whereabouts and sometimes what we wears to the fans, he posts quite often to show the fans he loves them, and it's not hard to find that Dylan enjoys exploring different hobbies, such as drawing, playing a various of instruments like the guitar, the piano, and also in all kinds of sports, such as the recent skiing he is into. With his goofy personality and good looks, he appeared in a lot of variety shows in Korea and China, and apparently he is getting lot more fans because of that.
