she hid her true self to not hurt others

but as she did that, she hurt herself

one day, as her mask fell off, her true self was exposed

it was hurt

it was scarred

her emotions were a storm she could not control

she bursted as she could no longer hold back

in tears

in anger

she gave in, until it stopped

This is my drawing for #AA11 - we had to challenge ourselves. I challenged myself by trying to shade with colour pencils.
