How does she do it?

Smiling so brightly

Voice of glinting glass

Her crown sitting quietly

Her kingdom, made of crystal

Halls of shining silver

Her eyes, kind and simple

Yet underneath all of those:

Her heart is thick and cold

Emotions unknown

Corpses dipped in gold

She had been disowned

By her mother, her family

Friends that had noticed

Her cruelty, her smile

Her overshadowed motive

So when bodies arose

From rivers of deep

Blood running crimson

Eyes, closed in sleep

They too, rose up

To battle her wrath

Screams, and yelps within

The raging blood bath

They didn't give up

Without a proper fight

Her energy was waning

Against their rapid bite

How does she do it?

Beat them all to the ground

Their eyes, full of hate

Her name being renowned

Even with numbers

She couldn't be defeated

They couldn't do anything

So then they retreated

But none of them saw

The sadness in her eyes

The pain in her heart

They were once, her allies

Her mother, her family

Friends that had noticed

Her cruelty, her smile

Her overshadowed motive

But none of them noticed

Her tenderness, her care

The love that she felt

For those in despair

Falling to the ground

Tears ruining her win

She had been betrayed

By those she let in
